Graduate Welcome

Welcome to the UNLV School of Computer Science!

Here at the School of Computer Science we offer the Master of Science (MS) and the Doctor of Philosophy (Phd) in Computer Science. We provide a variety of areas of study at the graduate level including: design and analysis of algorithms, operating and distributed systems, computer architecture and networking , computational geometry, computer graphics and image processing, programming languages and compiler construction, artificial intelligence and expert systems, database design, document analysis and retrieval, and software engineering.

The 12 members of our graduate faculty are dedicated to providing the instruction, guidance, and advice that students require in order to conduct important and interesting research and succeed in their scholarly pursuits.
